TRUST
“Trust in me “you told me once, gathering courage I took your hand
I was not able to trust someone, my hearth felt empty cold and damped
Tears were frequent, burning my face drying my spirit in those cold days and nights
Rays of sunshine filtered my window,
I could not feel the warm I could not see the rainbow.

You taught me how to trust in the loyalty of the heart,
the beauty of the warm and tender soul
The innermost that lay inside the one that helps you to learn to love,
trust and smile.

My soul that faintly appears when in trouble and tries to battle the sadness
It often does when in pain and solitude I feel
I felt the need of a friend a relentless search I did
And I grabbed your hand that extended was in hope
and from the darkness I raised myself so tall
Sure enough your strength was there and your soul lifted,holded me,
made feel alive again

When laying together, my trust in you let me sleep,
let me breath and peaceful I dreamt
In your arms like a child I felt, sensation of comfort and having a safe place
The sensation that a child feels when near his or her mother’s breast lay down to rest
Forgot my worries, surrounded my hearth and prayed to God that the moment last
And I closed my eyes.

And continuing with time by the hours, the minutes step by step, hand in hand
I learnt in the beauty of the trust of oneself,
I give thanks in the joy of knowing that I Trusted You,
that solid and loving is your love for me,
I realized that blessed I have been
that the trust was found and the base of our love lays inside where
The light and the harmonious sounds along with our prayers make us be at peace with Him
And we know that He holds us in his hands and heart
and all becuase I trusted in You and Me
