There is a reckoning in the air, with blue skies and fragrant flowers
All around me, life is coming to be, my soul wants to join the happy party
Of mother’s nature pride “The Spring”!
I cannot help but to want to stay in my winter
Cold and blue like my soul with lonely feelings
Dreams came and went, the illusion feels wilted
I can see the blurry image of a young child filled with enchantment
Falling in love with the most beautiful of places on earth
And plans she made to go and see what her heart yearn
Impossible dreams, more than incredible adventures
She dreamt to conquer, she dreamt to fulfil her hope
and in a way, I know she did all she set to do as she grew!
Now I wonder, Was it meant to be?
Were those dreams the catapult or the rope?
The knight who escorted her to regal palaces and homes
The one who walked with her, hand in hand and furtively kissed her
in every corner, at each step, on every path
stealing moment after moment her youth, her heart.
The one who took her breath away just the same as the city did
Is not with her, is not in her life and is not fighting to be the Knight she dreams
Is it possible that the impossible is to be conquered but then what it follows
Is simply not worth the achievement? If a dream came true but in its place to balance
The Ying and Yang of fairness only sadness leaves
How can I see the fairness of that deed?
I want to tell the child as I go back in time
to stop wanting, desiring hoping for the adventure
that the dream it is not what it seems
That the place that she sees will break her heart
and will take her soul to an empty land
Where it reigns obscurity and doubt
cold, damped, obscure, lonely and bizarre
Oh never mind! Heaven or earth, beauty or ugliness,
to every side there is an balance at hand
hate and love, tears and smiles, Ying and Yang
Just as they did, once upon a time in a beautiful place
Furtively kissing, holding their hearts in their hands
balancing their lives on moments where they lived and died
to feel the reincarnation of their hearts every day that it was
A long, long time ago in a place that she dreamt as a child
Coming back to the present, I can see now
It made her smile and that is worth to have.
Roll on “spring” I will join in and perhaps; I will smile!
