Tonino's Garden

TONINO’S GARDEN
My eyes open slowly as the sun warms me
Chirpy birds, colourful flowers cordial reception give
Welcoming to the new day spring has come to the garden
The flowers grow and bloom with loveliness one never before seen
I have found the treasure that lies at the rainbow end
Have planted its seeds on its place, gold, and silver, amber
Like promises of hope dense, unlimited wild landscaped
I admire the beauty that one day was lost for me
When I dare not to dream, when I lost my faith
His smile brought me back, shined like a starry night
And in his face gestures of wonderment and enchantment are shown
His child and pure smile, like sonorous chimes from golden bells
Filled the ambience alongside with the perfume from forgotten efflorescence
Roses, Hyacinths, Jasmines and Blue Bells
They all contributed to the awaken of his senses
Tonino lost becomes amongst the leaves and blossoms that welcome the spring
I grew costumed to hear not words but sounds of delight
He was starved for colour and light
his smiles were carried by the wind
To travel and cheer to show what matter the most, and is him
I can hear his voice, his power, his love I can feel
I can see my son who plays amongst the flowers
The ones that are called Angel Wings
There I sit and live in peace, there in Tonino’s garden.
